Southend United captain Adam Barrett is looking to use his previous play-off experience in their tie with Doncaster.
The Blues host the first leg of their semi-final against the South Yorkshire side at Roots Hall on Friday.
Barrett hopes to benefit from having been a part of the Southend side which won the League Two play-offs in 2005.
"A few of us have been there and done it before so we can draw from that experience. It's exciting - this is what you play football for," he said.
"It's tense times but I can't wait, let's get it on and get cracking with it."

Barrett is hoping the Shrimpers can make their home advantage count on Friday and take a lead to the Keepmoat Stadium for the return leg.
He told BBC Essex: "It'll be fantastic, the supporters have been behind us all season and Friday's going to be great.
"It's going to be a tense affair, very tight and one that we're really looking forward to - everyone at the club should be. There's a big carrot at the end of it and we've got to make sure we get there."
