Stevenage Borough have confirmed Graham Westley will take over as the club's manager for a second time.
Westley, who left Boro in 2006 after a three-year spell which saw them reach the Conference play-off final in 2005, returns with assistant John Dreyer.
Boro had been looking for a new manager since Peter Taylor left on Monday.
Westley became Rushden boss in December 2006 but was sacked after only three months. His last role was as Kettering caretaker last year.
Boro chairman Phil Wallace said: "The opinion of the board is that we need a manager who can hit the ground running coming August so extensive knowledge of the Conference is essential.

"Graham most certainly has that and is our preferred choice. We also know that we need people around him that are the right types and John Dreyer is most certainly that.
"The board has no doubt that Graham and John are a formidable partnership and the right people for us, right here, right now.
