Zidane, Vieira and Henry were as quiet as I have ever seen. France will struggle, they don't create any chances. Barthez, Thuram, Zidane and Vieira - the end of a Golden era in French Football
France must be the happier of the two sides. Switzerland deserved to win that game
I see some comparisons between France and the England team. They have some great players, but a manager who works against their strengths and doesn't know how to get the best out of them
I would say this has been one of the most boring football games of the whole tournament so far.
France are terrible judging by this lame show. They will possibly struggle to qualify, and will limp out as soon as they meet any team with good strikers.
This coach will be the death of the French team. His odd decisions have hurt them already in the selection process. No Anelka, Pires or Giuly. Giuly has been among the best midfielders in Europe this season. No sense whatsoever. I feel sorry for Henry.
I can't understand why Domenech hasn't turned to David Trezeguet yet. He is better than Wiltord and Ribery combined.
I still believe that France have the upper hand and will definitely win the match.
It looks like a continuation of the 2002 World Cup for France - don't know how long they will have to wait to score a goal in the tournament.
Switzerland will be well pleased at holding France goalless in the first 45. They've strangled the game a bit, but they've done it efficiently and deserve to go in scoreless.
Henry is by far the best player on the field - and France look dominant now - but I'm still going for a Swiss upset. They're composed and all they need is one decent set-up and they're through. You could give France a dozen decent chances and they could miss them all.
Henry was denied a penalty, it was a blatant hand ball in the box taking the sting out of his shot.
I can see the French getting frustrated, as the Swiss are doing a good job of slowing things down.
Most people are predicting a win for France, but they are forgetting they could not beat Switzerland in qualifying.
Switzerland have made a positive move by going in with two strikers, looks as if they have learned from Poland's mistake.
France are not the team they were of 1998, all their best players are past their prime. I think they might struggle to break down a resilient Swiss side

I'm in Paris now and the French haven't even gone home or out to see the game, they don't even care about the World Cup!
France will walk this, I'm afraid - Switzerland may have a couple of quality players but won't be able to deal with the likes of Henry and co.

Which France is going to show up this time. The '98 or '02 version? Switzerland are my dark horses, don't think this will be easy for the French. Not expecting a goal fest, but still a good game. It'll be 1-0 France.

I'm not sure the French side have the firepower any longer to turn over the Swiss, who've developed into quite a tough outfit
