Giancarlo Fisichella looks to have had his last chance at a top team after a disappointing season at Renault.

Once rookie Heikki Kovalainen had found his feet in 2007, the Finn comprehensively outpaced Fisichella.

The Italian, who is fast and stylish but lacks the bullet-proof mentality to make it to the very top, faded in the face of his test.
