Kimi Raikkonen delivered the world championship that was expected of him at Ferrari in 2007 - but it was a lot harder than most expected it to be.

Employed on a massive retainer to replace Michael Schumacher, the super-fast Finn was overshadowed by team-mate Felipe Massa early on.

But once he had found his feet, Raikkonen came on increasingly strong to snatch the title at the final race.

Now comfortable at Ferrari, he is a formidable force in 2008.
