Jarno Trulli
Raising his game

Jarno Trulli
Born: 13/7/74
Nationality: Italian
First GP: Australia 1997
Wins: 1
2007 position: 13th
Previous teams: Minardi, Prost, Jordan, Renault
Jarno Trulli is arguably the fastest man in Formula One over one lap, yet that sometimes does him no good at all.

It means the likeable Italian often puts his car higher up the grid than it deserves to be, going at a faster pace than he can sustain in a race.

It has led to the phenomenon that has come to be known in F1 as the "Trulli train" as he finds himself at the front of a queue of faster cars on Sundays.

It is now up to Toyota to provide him with a car that can match his pace.
