Anthony Davidson is in for a tough season with Super Aguri after the team sorted out its participation only on the eve of the first race.

Davidson has a quick, if erratic, yardstick in team-mate Takuma Sato, and he impressed in 2007 by being generally the impressive performer.

He won his drive in the Honda-backed team after six years of hard work as test driver for BAR and Honda.

He is widely respected as a consistent and reliable contender.
