McLaren head into this season hoping to get back onto an even keel after a tumultuous 2007.

The new car looks quick, and in Lewis Hamilton the team have a leader who is set to become a true F1 great - so they should be title contenders.

But this season will be a test of character after recent problems.

Heikki Kovalainen is expected to be an able and politically neutral support for Hamilton, but fall-out from the spy row continues to cause problems.
