BMW made a step forward last year to become the clear third-placed team behind McLaren and Ferrari.

This low-key, purposeful team will aim to build on that and inch closer to the big two, but that next step may be harder than it sounds.

BMW have kept their cards close to their chest over the winter, but if anything the gap to the top two seems to have grown not shrunk.
