England's men won gold in the WDF World Cup Team Event, with captain Martin Adams securing a 9-8 victory in the last leg of the final against Holland.

The hosts won the overall title by just five points from England, with Wales in third after some fine performances.

Jan Robbins won the women's singles, beating Julie Gore in an all-Welsh final, while compatriot Mark Webster won the men's singles.

The reigning European champion saw off Robert Wagner of Norway 4-0.

To complete a hugely successful event for the nation, Wales won the overall World Cup Women's title.
