By Elizabeth Hudson

Jim Anderson
Jim Anderson kept up his superb form by smashing his own world record to win the Paralympic S2 200m freestyle.

The Scot clocked a time of four minutes 49.81 seconds to break the mark he set in Sheffield earlier this year by almost 13 seconds.

The 41-year-old had already won gold in the 100m freestyle on Monday.

"The Israeli swimmer who finished second had beaten me in the Paralympic trials so I was nervous that the same thing might happen again," he said.

"But this is wonderful and I feel great, although I won't celebrate until after my other two races."
