GB boccia team miss out
Nigel Murray in action at the Athens Paralympics
Britain's BC-1 BC-2 boccia quartet of Nigel Murray, Peter Pearse, Susie Robinson and Anne Woffinden missed out on a medal in the mixed team event.

The team advanced to the Paralympic semi-finals but were edged out by Portugal, who went on to win the gold.

Britain faced Spain in the bronze medal play-off and were again unlucky to suffer a narrow defeat, losing out 7-5.

Earlier, the British quartet had been heavily defeated 13-1 by Spain in their final Pool S match.
