GB Paralympic team for Beijing

Paralympics

Great Britain is expected to send a team of about 400 athletes and coaches to the 2008 Beijing Paralympics and compete in 18 of the 20 sports.

In Athens four years ago, GB finished second to China in the medals table with 94 medals, including 35 golds.

Selection has already started for the GB team for this year's Games, which will take place from 6-17 September.

BASKETBALL

Men: Joe Bestwick (Nottingham), Andy Blake (Bucks), Simon Brown (London), Matt Byrne (Nottingham), Terry Bywater (Redcar), Peter Finbow (Dewsbury), Jon Hall (Chesterfield), Kevin Hayes (Rotherham), Abdi Jama (Liverpool), Simon Munn (Staffs), Ade Orogbemi (Liverpool), Jon Pollock (Wigan).
