Schools' Cup fourth round results

Campbell College knocked out holders RBAI from the Northern Bank Schools' Cup by claiming a 7-0 win.

Methody safely progressed to the fifth round by beating Sullivan Upper 36-0.

Last year's beaten finalists Wallace High were beaten 16-15 by Omagh Academy while Armagh Royal defeated Banbridge Academy 21-0.

Ballymena Academy beat BRA 31-0, Ballyclare defeated Rainey 20-3 while Grosvenor hammered Limavady 43-0 and Regen House edged Coleraine Inst 10-6.

The quarter-final draw has pitted Campbell against fellow big guns Methody while Ballymena Academy will take on Grosvenor.

The remaining two last-eight ties will see Regent House facing Royal School Armagh while Ballyclare High will play Omagh Academy. Games will be played on Saturday 23 February.

Campbell deserved their narrow and hard-fought win over RBAI at Osborne Park.

Although Inst had their chances particularly in the first half it was the visitors who sneaked ahead just before the break when number eight Matthew Armstrong crashed over with fly-half James McKinney converting.

Campbell continued to press in the second half and should have had a second try only for skipper Ben McDonnell's pass to Jason Harvey going forward with the winger having a free run to the line.

Methody's easy romp at Sullivan was helped by two tries apiece from Adam Macklon and Niall Annott and Fabien La Roche also scoring and Paddy Robinson kicking 11 poilnts.

Jim Neill scored a hat-trick of tries as Ballyclare easily accounted for Rainey Endowed, while Grosvenor had Mark Atkinson and Simon Fullerton landed a brace apiece in the win over Limavady.
