Glasgow trio agree new contracts

Glasgow flanker Kelly Brown
Brown has enjoyed an excellent first season with Glasgow

Scotland back-row Kelly Brown, winger Thom Evans and second-row Dan Turner have all agreed new Glasgow contracts.

The trio will stay with the Warriors until 2010 and head coach Sean Lineen is delighted.

He said: "Kelly Brown has been nothing short of inspirational and Dan Turner never gives anything less than 100%

"As for Thom, he's a classy international player in the making. It was crucial that we kept him since he is a real crowd pleaser."

Brown moved to Glasgow last year when the Border Reivers were disbanded.

"I've really enjoyed my first season with Glasgow and I'm excited about where this club is going," said the flanker.

"With the bulk of the squad staying together, I'm confident Glasgow will continue to be a competitive force in the years ahead."
