Deacon agrees new Leicester deal

Deacon's older brother Louis also plays for the Tigers

Leicester back-row forward Brett Deacon, 26, has committed his future to the Tigers by signing a new contract.

Deacon, who has played 86 games after coming through the academy ranks, said: "I've never wanted to leave.

"Being first choice has been my aim since signing my first contract. That hasn't been happening but hopefully I can achieve that with Tigers."

Forwards coach Richard Cockerill said: "He's a hard-working and competitive player, and adds a lot to the squad."
