Leicester hooker George Chuter says the fact so many young Tigers players have been named in the England elite player squad can only be a good thing.
Chuter is one of eight Tigers included in Martin Johnson's first squad.
And although he recognises it will have implications for the club this season, he says it must be seen as a positive.
"It reflects well on the club, it reflects well on our development and the way we are bringing young guys through," he told BBC Radio Leicester.
"Jordan Crane, Tom Varndell and Tom Croft have 10 years left in the game and these guys are really on the threshold of something special."
Chuter, who led England's successful summer England Saxons tour, added: "They are starting to make real inroads on the international scene which is great."
