Harris set for Glamorgan return

James Harris has been out with an ankle injury

James Harris will make his seasonal bow for Glamorgan in their LV County Championship match against Derbyshire which starts on Wednesday.

The youngster who turns 18 during the four-day match, has missed the start of the season with an ankle injury.

Mike Powell and Robert Croft are both aiming for career landmarks with Powell needing just nine more runs to reach 10,000 runs in all first-class cricket.

Croft needs three wickets to reach 900 first-class wickets for Glam.

The Welsh county is also aiming to build on their win 114-run win over Gloucestershire 10 days ago.


Glamorgan: Gareth Rees, Matthew Wood, David Hemp (captain), Michael Powell, Jamie Dalrymple, Mark Wallace (wicket-keeper), Alex Wharf, Robert Croft, Jason Gillespie, James Harris and David Harrison.
