Pattinson thrilled by Notts start

Darren Pattinson

Nottinghamshire new boy Darren Pattinson said his introduction to county cricket has gone better than he could have expected.

Pattinson has starred with the ball in both county matches he has played so far and is thrilled with his form.

He told BBC Radio Nottingham: "To get five-for and six-for in my first two games is an excellent effort.

"I didn't know what to expect. I just wanted to pull my own weight, help the team and not get smashed too much."
