Luton 1-2 Brighton

Brighton kept alive their play-off hopes and condemned Luton to relegation with a win at Kenilworth Road.

After Sam Parkin headed wide, the hosts took the lead just after half-time when Parkin rounded goalkeeper Michel Kuipers and slotted into the net.

Brighton responded immediately when Dean Cox crossed from the right for Ian Westlake to head in off the crossbar.

The Seagulls won it with another Cox cross from the right, Glenn Murray heading home from six yards.


Luton: Brill, Asafu-Adjaye, Hutchison, Keane, Davis (Robinson 75), O'Leary, Emanuel, Spring, McVeigh (Currie 61), Parkin, Andrew.
