Matty Blinkhorn struck late on for Morecambe to dent Chesterfield's hopes of reaching the play-offs.

The visitors dominated and took a deserved lead through Steve Fletcher, but they should have scored more.

Goalkeeper Scott Davies twice superbly denied Jamie Ward before the break to keep Morecambe in the touch.

The home side came back into the game, with Damien Allen wasting a chance and Wayne Curtis hitting the post before Morecambe levelled.
