Hereford 0-1 Peterborough
Peterborough secured promotion to League One after a Dean Keates goal gave them all three points at Hereford.
Keates bagged the crucial winner on 29 minutes when he headed in Chris Whelpdale's cross from close range.
Hereford twice went close with efforts from Clint Easton and Steve Guinan which were saved by keeper Joe Lewis.
Peterborough however continued to push forward with Keates heading over the bar while Adam Newton forced another good save from Wayne Brown.
Hereford: Brown, McClenahan, Broadhurst, Beckwith, Rose, Igoe (Robinson 64), Smith, Diagouraga, Easton (Johnson 76), Hooper, Guinan (Benjamin 76).
