Hereford celebrated promotion to League One with a 2-0 victory in front of their biggest crowd of the season.
First-half strikes from Ben Smith and Theo Robinson atoned for the 2-1 defeat at Blundell Park earlier in the season.
Kris Taylor's pass set up Smith, who drove under the diving body of Mariners goalkeeper Phil Barnes before Robinson latched onto another Taylor pass.
Hereford goalkeeper Ryan Esson had a debut to remember with fine saves to deny Danny Boshell and Danny North.
