Berlusconi leaves AC Milan post
AC Milan president Silvio Berlusconi has resigned from his position in charge of the Serie A giants with immediate effect.
According to Italian law, the 71-year-old must avoid a conflict of interests when he begins his third stint as Italian prime minister.
But the law does not require the billionaire politician to sell Milan.
It is expected that Berlusconi will hand over the reins to current vice-president Adriano Galliani.
