Trinidad & Tobago v England: 1 June

MOTD LIVE - TRINIDAD & TOBAGAO v ENGLAND: 1 JUNE

England head coach Fabio Capello Gary Lineker presents live coverage of England's friendly against Trinidad and Tobago, which takes place in the Caribbean (2220 BST, BBC ONE).

At club level it has been a successful season for English clubs, with Manchester United crowned champions of Europe and three Premier League teams reaching the last four of the Champions League.

But on the international scene it's been a different story and the national side will be not be present when the European Championship kicks off in less than a week's time.

The Football Association has set new England manager Fabio Capello the target of reaching the 2010 World Cup semi-finals so the Italian will be keen to settle on his preferred line-up as the autumn qualifying stages loom closer.

England and Trinidad & Tobago have met just once before - that meeting came in the group stages of the 2006 World Cup, where late goals from Peter Crouch and Steven Gerrard rescued England from what would have been an embarrassing draw against the Soca Warriors, the smallest country ever to qualify for the World Cup.

Steve Wilson and Mark Bright will be in the commentary box at the Hasely Crawford Stadium.
