Arbroath 0-1 Cowdenbeath
A penalty after five minutes was enough to send Cowdenbeath into the fourth
round of the Scottish Cup.
Pat Clarke scored from the spot after going down under a Jamie Bishop challenge.
It could have been so different for Arbroath if Paul Watson had scored after 30 seconds, but his half-volley flew over the bar.
Arbroath's hopes of getting back into the match were dealt a blow in the 38th minute when Paul Tosh was sent-off.
