Brechin and East Fife face a Scottish Cup third round replay after battling
their way to a keenly-contested draw.
Both sides had chances in the first half and Brechin went close when a drive from Adam Nelson was turned over.
East Fife opened the scoring when Jonathan Smart headed home Lloyd Young's free-kick.
But the home side kept battling and equalised in the 74th minute through a Darren Gribben penalty before East Fife had Kevin Fotheringham sent-off.
