Partick fought back from behind to book their place in the Scottish Cup fourth
round draw.
United stunned their hosts by taking the lead after 19 minutes through Alex
Williams and keeper Craig Hinchcliffe kept the Jags in contention.
However, the home side equalised in first-half stoppage time when Mark Roberts scored from close range.
Thistle's recovery was complete when Ryan McStay's free-kick fell for Liam Buchanan who drilled home the winner.
