Dunfermline leapfrogged Partick Thistle thanks to Stevie Crawford's winner on the stroke of half-time.

Scott Thomson missed a golden chance for the Pars after 36 minutes when he blazed over from five yards.

But former Scotland striker Crawford burst into the penalty area and stroked the ball past Jonathan Tuffey for his second goal in two games.

Dunfermline substitute Mark Burchill was unlucky to see his shot deflected over the crossbar after 81 minutes.
