Calderwood picks up win over son

Aberdeen striker Chris Maguire

Aberdeen boss Jimmy Calderwood got the better of his son Scott as the Dons eased to a 5-0 win over DZC '68.

The Dutch side, managed by Calderwood junior, were brushed aside thanks to a hat-trick from Chris Maguire and goals from Lee Miller and Jamie Smith.

Former Falkirk defender Jean-Francois Lescinel failed to appear as a trialist after picking up an injury.

The Haiti international, who started his career with Paris Saint Germain, hopes to feature in the next tour game.

The 22-year-old spent a controversial four-month spell with Falkirk in 2006 before going absent without permission and leaving the club having made just 10 appearances.

Dyon Camero, the former De Graafschap 19-year-old who has been playing with FC Zutphen, is expected to hook up with the Dons on Saturday having done well in a previous trial spell.

"He could be one for the future and impressed us when he came here in March," said Calderwood.

The Dons manager expects striker Tommy Wright to complete his transfer from Darlington, where he is continuing his rehabilitation from injury, after the Dons return from the Netherlands.
