Accrington sign former Red Smyth
Accrington Stanley have signed former Liverpool youngster Mark Smyth.
The 20-year-old midfielder has joined the Conference promotion hopefuls on non-contract terms.
Smyth, who was capped by England at under-20 level, was released at the end of last season after making one senior appearance in the League Cup.
Meanwhile, Accrington boss John Coleman has allowed on-loan defender Kevin Lee to return to Wigan but has extended team-mate Phil Edwards' stay.
