Aldershot confirm Newman capture
Aldershot boss Terry Brown has confirmed the signing of experienced midfielder Ricky Newman.
Newman, 35, played 29 League games for Brentford last season, helping the Bees to the play-offs before he was released at the end of the campaign.
Brown told Shots website: "Ricky is to become an Aldershot player and that is great news for the club.
"He is a real battler and organiser who will certainly stand up to be counted, and I'm delighted he's signed."
