Newman to be Shots player-coach
Aldershot midfielder Ricky Newman has signed a new one-year contract with the Blue Square Premier champions.
The 37-year-old, who played 36 games for the Shots last season, will combine playing duties with coaching the reserve team.
Manager Gary Waddock said: "I am delighted. Ricky is a model professional and a great example to the younger players.
"This is another important signing for the club as we look to the future."
