Dempsie signs for The Honest Men
Former Elgin City defender Allan Dempsie has signed for Second Division outfit Ayr United.
The former Hibernian youth player agreed a deal with the club and will move up a division next term.
Dempsie made 30 starts for Elgin under Robbie Williamson and will join The Honest Men for the 2008-9 campaign.
The 25-year-old was introduced by Frank Sauzee as a youth player during the Frenchman's short spell as manager at Easter Road before moving on to Elgin.
