Lazio secure Zarate in loan deal
Mauro Zarate has joined Italian Serie A side Lazio on a loan deal from Qatar club Al-Sadd.
Zarate spent much of last season on loan at Birmingham City and scored four goals but was unable to save the club from relegation.
The 21-year-old Argentine forward had been linked to a host of Premier League clubs including Portsmouth.
But Zarate has chosen to join Lazio, with the Rome side having an option to make the move permanent.
