Brentford sign striker MacDonald
Brentford manager Andy Scott has completed the signing of striker Charlie McDonald from Southend United for an undisclosed fee.
The 27-year-old has signed a two-year contract at Griffin Park and become the eighth new player to join the Bees this summer.
The former Charlton trainee scored once in 11 league appearances for the Shrimpers last season.
MacDonald joined Southend from Ebbsfleet United in June 2007.
