Pirates life is good for Lambert

Rickie Lambert (centre) Bristol Rovers striker Rickie Lambert says joining the club was the best decision he has made in football.

Lambert, 26, joined from Rochdale for £200,000 in August 2006.

"I think the whole team's enjoying their football at the moment because we're playing so well and winning games," he told BBC Radio Bristol.

"I've looked back at the decision a few times and it's the best I've made in football, since I've come I've had the best games of my life."

Lambert scored the winning goal for Rovers in the fifth round tie against Southampton on Saturday.
