Cambridge Utd release midfielder
Cambridge United midfielder Stephen Smith will leave the club after being told his contract will not be extended.
He is now expected to join local rivals Cambridge City where he has been on loan for the second half of the season.
The 21-year-old youth-team product made 62 appearances in the league for the U's and scored four goals.
U's assistant manager Willie Wordsworth said: "The gaffer and I thank Stephen for his service to the club. He's been a model pro for us."
