Cardiff City midfielder Joe Ledley says he expects to be at his home-town club next season despite speculation over a move elsewhere.
The 21-year-old Wales international has been linked to Premier League sides Tottenham and Everton.
But he said: "I've got two years left and I'm happy to stay here for now.
"If anything happens, it happens, but it's not down to me. It's down to the chairman and the manager, and if they want to sell me then I'll have to go."
Ledley is a graduate of Cardiff's academy which in the last six months alone has seen defender Chris Gunter leave for Spurs and most recently Aaron Ramsey joining Arsenal.
But chairman Peter Ridsdale insists Ledley will remain at Ninian Park.
He told BBC Wales last week: "People keep saying: 'What about Joe Ledley?' and he keeps on playing for Cardiff City.
"As far as I'm concerned Joe will be our player when we kick off the season on 9 August."
Ledley meanwhile has hailed Ramsey's switch to Arsenal saying the 17-year-old made the "best" choice out of the Gunners, Manchester United and Everton.

"Arsenal will play the youngsters," he said.
"He deserves everything and he was quality for us last season.
"If he can get a couple of chances, he can get a starting place.
"He has gone there with big expectations and a lot of money, but you know he can do it."
And Ledley says Ramsey can learn a lot from Arsenal's Spanish European Championship winner Cesc Fabregas.
"It will be brilliant for Aaron to link up with Fabregas," said Ledley. "He is going to learn even more and gain more experience."
