Derby seal loan signing of Ghaly
Egypt midfielder Hossam Ghaly has joined Derby County from Tottenham on loan until the end of the season.
Ghaly came into the Rams squad just in time to play against manager Paul Jewell's former club Wigan.
The 26-year-old has not played for Spurs since throwing his shirt at former coach Martin Jol in May 2007.
Ghaly's move completes a busy few days in the transfer market at Derby, in which Laurent Robert and Robbie Savage have also signed for the club.
Jewell said on Tuesday the likes of Savage, Ghaly, Robert - and a fourth new signing Emanuel Villa - would make a big difference to the club.
"These type of people will give all the players and supporters a lift," said the Rams boss.
"By the time I get the team I want here it will be unrecognisable to the one we've got now and I don't just mean in terms of personnel.
"I mean in the way they approach games and their approach to other things."
