Shire boss ringing the changes

East Stirling boss Jim McInally

East Stirlingshire have signed goalkeeper John Hillcoat, striker Colin Cramb and midfielder Sean Anderson.

Hillcoat, 37, had been released by Third Division rivals Stenhousemuir and will also be coaching with Shire.

Shire say that fellow veteran Cramb, 33, who had been with Stirling Albion in Division One, had been sought after by several clubs.

Anderson, 19, has signed after being released by Dundee having previously been on the books with Celtic.

Coach Jim McInally has also signed three of last season's squad on new deals.

Derek Ure, Marc McKenzie and Dean Richardson have all extended their stays at the club.

But Shire are to lose Carl Thywissen, 30, who leaves for Sweden after four seasons at Firs Park.

Greig Mitchell, Norrie McIntyre, Scott McDonald, Willie McLachlan, Alan Wilson and Graham Smith have all been allowed to leave.

New contracts have been offered to Craig Donaldson, Gary Kelly, Gordon Moffat, Stephen Oates and Joe Savage.

Meanwhile, Stenhousemuir have released defender Scott McCulloch and midfielder Tam Murdoch.

Defender Craig Menzies has been invited to find another club but will be welcome to participate in pre-season.
