Stimson expects Scally's backing
Gillingham manager Mark Stimson expects to receive the backing of chairman Paul Scally even if the club are relegated.
The Gills' 1-1 draw against Swindon on Saturday left them on the brink of the drop to League Two.
But Stimson told the club's website: "The chairman and I will have a chat next week. He said that we'll meet to discuss the budget for next season.
"We will always look each other in the eyes and be honest. We will not hide behind anyone."
