Double joy for Ipswich's Walters
Ipswich Town striker Jonathan Walters picked up two player of the season awards at the club's annual awards evening on Tuesday.
The 12-goal Republic of Ireland B international forward, 24, was chosen by both his team-mates and the corporate boxholders and sponsors.
The goal of the season award went to Pablo Counago for his audacious backheel at Charlton Athletic.
Winger Danny Haynes was named as the club's most improved player.
Teenage striker Jordan Rhodes - who scored his first senior goal in the recent draw against Cardiff - took the Harold Smith Trophy for the most improved academy player of the year.
