Hyypia hoping to take on Chelsea
Liverpool's Sami Hyypia is hoping for a recall for Wednesday's Champions League semi-final second leg against Chelsea.
The Finn had played in every one of the Reds' Champions League ties this season before dropping to the bench for the first leg at Anfield last Tuesday.
The defender told BBC Radio Merseyside: "When I go out on to the pitch I always give 100%.
"The boss almost has a full squad to choose from. We will see on Wednesday who he chooses."
Hyypia has had his consistent performances at centre half this season rewarded with a one-year contract extension, which will take him into his 10th year at the club.

"Personally, I would like us to use Hyypia instead of Skrtel "

Following John Arne Riise's own goal in the first leg at Anfield, Liverpool will have to score at Stamford Bridge for Hyppia to stand a chance of playing in his third Champions League final.
Hyppia offered words of encouragement for his team mate and said: "There are many more players who have scored own goals. It is just normal in football.
"Everything goes so quickly these days. The ball is travelling quickly through the air. Sometimes you don't know where it's going, from your head or from your foot.
"He's a good character and hopefully he's not worrying about that anymore and he's mentally 100%."
