Wood signs new deal at Mansfield
Mansfield Town defender Chris Wood will stay with the Stags for another year after signing a new one-year contract.
The 21-year-old played 14 times for Mansfield last season as they were relegated from the Football League.
He made his Stags debut as a 17-year-old and will now hope to establish himself as a first-team regular in the Blue Square Premier.
Manager Paul Holland said: "He has a fantastic attitude and is a fine example to the youth players."
