Renton signs first pro contract
Norwich City striker Kris Renton has signed his first professional contract 15 months after becoming the club's youngest ever player.
Renton was 16 years and 276 days old when he made his first-team debut in a win over Leicester in April 2007.
The Scottish forward's development was halted last season when he suffered a broken leg in a youth-team game.
Now aged 18, Renton is the fifth academy player to get a professional deal since Glenn Roeder became manager.
