Newton signs new contract at Posh
Peterborough winger Adam Newton has signed a new two-year deal at the club.
The 24-year-old, who moved to London Road from West Ham in 2002, has agreed a contract to keep him with the Posh until June 2007.
He told the club website: "It was a bit of a surprise, but I had no hesitation in agreeing the deal. I want to be part of good things at Peterborough.
"We aren't doing so well at the moment, but I have great faith good things are just around the corner."
