Thompson happy with Sinnott style
Port Vale's new signing Steve Thompson joined the club because of the way manager Lee Sinnott wants to play.
Thompson has signed a two-year deal with the relegated side following his release from Middlesbrough.
The 19-year-old told BBC Radio Stoke: "I was impressed with the manager's outlook on the game and I hope I can repay him by scoring goals."
The striker has become Vale's third summer recruit and he will report for pre-season training on 25 June.
