QPR appeal over Stewart dismissal
Queens Park Rangers have lodged a formal appeal to the Football Association over Damion Stewart's sending-off at Norwich on Saturday.
Stewart was red-carded after only four minutes for a foul on Ched Evans in a game they eventually lost 3-0.
But manager Luigi De Canio felt the decision was harsh and that the Jamaican international was unlucky to be sent off for the challenge.
"I didn't think that Damion deserved to go, I feel we were unlucky," he said.
