Wednesday aim to bolster midfield
Sheffield Wednesday manager Brian Laws says he has already started talking to some of his transfer targets.
Laws is desperate to bolster the Owls midfield after releasing Burton O'Brien and Ronnie Wallwork and with Graham Kavanagh returning to Sunderland.
Laws told BBC Radio Sheffield: "We are already talking to one or two players.
"Hopefully all the hard work we'll be doing over the next few weeks will come to fruition and we'll get some decent quality midfield players in."
Wednesday have already agreed a new two-year deal with academy graduate Sean McAllister after he impressed on his return from a loan at Mansfield.
